Alight is named for the way a good commute ends: you step off, lightly, and get on with your day. It's the lightest backpack we've ever made, only 0.8 kg of smooth, dense-weave nylon with a fine matte texture, hidden zips, and quiet black hardware. Nothing about it reads sporty; it sits as naturally beside a suit jacket as it does on a Saturday.
It's designed for people whose day runs from train to desk to dinner without a stop at home. Most lightweight backpacks are built for the trail; this one is built for the office, with an interior laid out around a working day and a silhouette clean enough for any room it walks into.
- Recycled Dense-Weave Nylon: Splash-resistant and wipes clean, with a fine matte texture refined enough for formal wear.
- Padded 16-inch Laptop Slot: Fits the MacBook Pro 16, Dell XPS 16, ThinkPad X1 Extreme, and HP Spectre x360 16. Interior sleeve measures 40 × 27 cm (15.7 × 10.6 in); a retainer strap holds the laptop flat against your back.
- Featherlight 0.8 kg Build: Only 0.8 kg (1.8 lb), reducing shoulder strain on long days.
- One-Hand Magnetic Pocket: Discreet front pocket opens with one hand for transit cards, with a key leash so your keys never dig to the bottom; the zipped front pocket below keeps valuables secure.
- Workday Organization: Zip mesh pocket for cables and chargers, a slip pocket for wallet or notebook, another for pens or a phone, plus two side slots for a 500 ml bottle and a full-size umbrella.
- Travel Ready: Luggage sleeve slides over most standard suitcase handles, with a hidden zipped pocket behind it for passport and valuables.

This warranty only covers products purchased directly from Maverick & Co’s official website.
