Warranty

This page sets out the warranty terms for all Maverick & Co. products. Two different policies apply, depending on what you bought:

— Bags and accessories are covered by our 12-month warranty.
— Luggage is covered by a separate 10-year limited warranty and a 100-day trial, under its own terms.

Our 12-month warranty (the "Warranty") extends to all Maverick & Co. bags and accessories (our "Products") manufactured by Maverick & Co. and purchased directly from our official website (https://www.maverickandco.co). It does not apply to luggage, which is covered separately (see the Luggage section below), or to any products under clearance sale when the order is placed.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. It does not cover your product if you use it in a manner that is incompatible with the intended design and purpose.

This warranty is effective on all covered bags and accessories purchased from 1st January 2021 onwards. Products purchased prior to this date are not covered. It extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Scratches, dents, rips, tears, loose threads, edge paint peelings, stains, or discolorations that occur through normal use of the product and do not impair its functionality.

Damage that occurs from improper maintenance, washing, or cleaning, as well as damage resulting from attempted self-repair.

Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, or water.

Products sold by any third-party vendor, retailer, store, or website that is not Maverick & Co., including clearance sales.

Damage that is not classified as a manufacturing defect, such as normal wear and tear, misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accidents, or other abnormal use.

Use of the product other than for its intended purpose.

Improper or unauthorized repair.

Luggage is covered by different terms from the rest of our range. The essentials are summarized here; the full terms — including the complete covered / not-covered breakdown, the repair process, and transport-damage guidance — are on the Luggage Warranty & Trial page.

Luggage may be returned within 100 days of delivery if you are not satisfied with it. This replaces the standard 30-day return window that applies to other products. To be eligible, the luggage must be in brand-new, unused condition, with all original packaging intact and the combination lock reset to 0-0-0; luggage used in transit is not eligible, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Every Maverick & Co. suitcase carries a 10-year limited warranty against manufacturer's defect under responsible use, purchased directly from our official website. Coverage works in two stages:

First year — hassle-free. Both functional issues (loss of function in wheels, side and top plastic handles, zipper, trolley, and TSA lock) and manufacturing defects are covered. We'll repair the piece or, if it can't be repaired, replace it.

Years 2 to 10 — manufacturing defects only. Coverage narrows to a defined set of defect modes: side / top plastic handle hydrolysis, wheel hydrolysis, and wheel detachment. Functional wear that arises from normal use after the first year is treated as wear and tear and is not covered.

Because the same part can fail in different ways, we distinguish a manufacturing defect (a fault in materials or construction, present from manufacture) from a functional issue (loss of function that comes from use). The full definition and breakdown are on the luggage warranty page.

Luggage comes with access to a self-repair kit covering the parts most likely to need attention: zipper puller, top plastic handle, side plastic handle, TSA locks, and wheels. The telescopic (trolley) handle is not part of the kit and is not a self-replaceable part; any issue with it is handled by Maverick & Co. directly.

The luggage warranty is effective on luggage purchased from 1st January 2026 onwards. It extends only to the original purchaser or their gift recipient and is non-transferable.

In the event of a defect, a repaired or replacement product will be provided at the option of Maverick & Co., subject to the fulfillment of your responsibilities below. A replacement may be manufactured in a different batch than the original, so a slight color or finish difference may occur, especially on natural materials such as leather.

As the warranty holder, you must provide us with proof of the original date of purchase. Maverick & Co. will investigate the cause of the defect and determine a solution, either repair or replacement. Any repaired or replaced product is subject to the same warranty as the original (the same last day of coverage). Except for the explicit warranties outlined in this Warranty Policy, Maverick & Co. does not make any representations or provide any express or implied warranties, whether by fact, law, statute, or otherwise, under this Agreement. Maverick & Co. explicitly disclaims any other written or verbal warranties, whether express or implied.

In no event shall Maverick & Co. be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of the use of the product, including property damage, loss of value of the product, or any third-party products used in or with the product, even if Maverick & Co. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Maverick & Co. has no liability for any damage to consumer electronics devices or other personal property that are in or connected to the products, including, without limitation, laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, or other devices. Maverick & Co. has no liability for any loss of data contained in the devices.

Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur for any reason whatsoever, the entire liability of Maverick & Co. shall be limited to the actual amount paid by you for the product. Some countries, states, and/or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In that case, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
